Portugal vs. Switzerland live stream World Cup 2022 group stage on Dec. 6

An all-European clash between Portugal and Switzerland closes out the round of 16 at the World Cup on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at Lusail Stadium in Lusail, Qatar. Here’s how to watch.

Portugal will face Switzerland on Tuesday to close out the round of 16 at the World Cup.

Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates won Group H despite suffering a 2-1 defeat to South Korea in their final group stage match.

Switzerland, meanwhile, reached the last-16 after finishing runners-up in Group G after beating Serbia 3-1 in a hard-fought affair.

While the two countries have been drawn together in World Cup qualifying four times, they have only played each other once in the finals when Switzerland won 2-1 in 1938.

It could very well be Ronaldo’s last World Cup game should Switzerland win. The 37-year-old superstar striker recently left Manchester United when the English club terminated his contract following a long-simmering dispute.

In addition to Ronaldo, Portugal features strikers Joao Felix and Rafael Leao. The Swiss will counter that with several star of their own, including attacking midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri and forward Breel Embolo.
