Killian Hayes, Mo Wagner part of massive 11-player suspensions

Eleven NBA gamers have been suspended thanks to the Pistons-Magic altercation on Wednesday. The league suspended two Pistons players and nine Magic players. Pistons Killian Hayes obtained a 3-video game suspension, his teammate Hamidou Diallo received a 2-sport suspension, and the Magic’s Mo Wagner acquired a 2-recreation suspension.

8 other Magic gamers have been suspended for leaving the bench: Cole Anthony, R.J. Hampton, Gary Harris, Kevon Harris, Admiral Schofield, Franz Wagner Mo Bamba, Wendell Carter, Jr.

Magic players will provide their suspensions on a staggered foundation to make certain they’ll have sufficient players offered.

This triggered an altercation, with the Pistons’ Hamidou Diallo shoving Wagner in the back, and Hayes adopted with a punch to Wagner’s head back again. In response, several Magic gamers left their bench region to get associated in the scuffle. 

NBA referees reviewed and considered Wagner’s first shove aggressive and avoidable, ejecting him with a Flagrant two foul for starting the incident, though Hayes and Diallo ended up ejected for instigating.

The arena was crammed with a sense of déjà vu, as many spectators ended up reminded of the notorious “Malice in the Palace” incident. Luckily, the condition hardly ever escalated to that stage.
